Services and Rates

I believe that pet care should come with peace of mind—not just for your animal companion, but for you too. That’s why I’m committed to offering fair, transparent pricing with no hidden fees, surprise add-ons, or confusing small print. What you see is exactly what you get.

Keeping things simple is important to me. You deserve to know exactly what I offer, what it costs, and how it fits into your pet’s routine. Whether it’s a one-off visit, a regular walk, or something more tailored, I’ll always make sure the pricing reflects the time, care, and attention your pet receives—nothing more, nothing less.

If you ever have questions about what’s included, or if you need something a little different, I’m always happy to talk it through. Every pet and every household is unique, and sometimes the kind of support you need doesn’t fit neatly into a list. Whether it’s a one-off request, a special circumstance, or just something you’re not sure how to ask for, I’ll do my best to accommodate.

My goal is to make pet care feel easy, reassuring, and built on trust—from the first hello to the final tail wag.

Our forms, contracts and other legal stuff.

Getting Started with Ed’s Pets

Before I can begin walking your dog or visiting your pets, there are a few simple forms and agreements we’ll need to complete. These aren’t just formalities—they’re here to help protect you, your pets, and me, and to make sure we’re all on the same page when it comes to care, safety, and expectations.

We’ll go through everything during our initial meet-and-greet, which is completely free and usually takes around 30 minutes. This visit is a chance for us to get to know each other, for your pet to say hello (and maybe sneak in a cuddle or two), and for you to ask any questions you might have. I always set aside extra time if needed—because building trust and understanding is what it’s all about.

To make the most of our visit, it’s helpful to have a few bits of information ready. Here’s a quick guide:

Whether your dog loves a brisk trot through the park or your rabbit prefers a slow sniff around the garden, I’ll adapt to their pace and personality and I’ll tailor my care to suit them.

If there’s anything special about your pet’s care—or if you just want to share a fun story about them—I’m all ears. After all, this is about more than just pet care. It’s about building a relationship based on trust, warmth, and a genuine love for animals.

Below are the documents required for Clients,  which will be emailed to the client to complete where possible and electronically sign with an email confirmation.

Vet Release Form

This document serves as an official authorisation for the delivery of veterinary medical services, ensuring that your pet receives timely and appropriate care should the need arise.

By completing and signing this form, you—the owner—are giving clear consent for qualified veterinary professionals to administer any necessary medical treatments to the animals listed. It also grants permission for the release or access of relevant medical records, allowing vets to make informed decisions that prioritise your pet’s health and well-being.

This form is a vital part of safeguarding your pet in unexpected situations. It ensures that, even in your absence, they’ll be treated with the same urgency, professionalism, and compassion you would want for them. It’s all about making sure your beloved companion is never left without the care they need.

Pet Visit Contract

This contract, along with the Pet Information Sheet and the Veterinary Release Form, forms the full agreement between us. It’s designed not just as paperwork, but as a thoughtful safeguard—for you, your beloved pets, and myself.

By clearly outlining expectations, responsibilities, and emergency protocols, it helps ensure that your animal companions receive the best possible care while giving you peace of mind. It’s all part of creating a safe, transparent, and trusting relationship—so you can feel confident knowing your pets are in loving, capable hands.

Dog Walking Contract

This document sets out a formal agreement between a dog owner and a dog walker, clearly identifying both parties involved—including their names and addresses—to ensure transparency and trust from the very beginning. It’s designed to establish a shared understanding of roles, responsibilities, and expectations, creating a solid foundation for a safe and positive working relationship.

By outlining the details of the arrangement, this agreement helps protect everyone involved—most importantly, the dog. It ensures that both the Owner and the Walker are on the same page when it comes to care routines, walking preferences, safety measures, and communication. Whether it’s a regular daily walk or occasional support, this document provides peace of mind that your dog’s well-being is the top priority.

It’s not just about formalities—it’s about building trust, setting clear boundaries, and making sure your beloved companion receives consistent, compassionate care every step of the way.

Pet Owners Information Sheet

I know how much they mean to you—not just as pets, but as cherished members of your family. That’s why this form isn’t just about ticking boxes; it’s about helping me understand the little things that make your pet feel safe, happy, and at home.

Whether it’s their favourite toy, a quirky routine, or the way they like their food served, every detail helps me mirror the care and comfort you provide. My goal is to make each visit feel like a seamless extension of your love—keeping things calm, familiar, and full of warmth while you’re away.

The more I know, the better I can honour your pet’s unique personality and routine. So please feel free to share anything that makes your companion who they are. From the practical to the playful, it all helps me give them the kind of care they truly deserve.
